Was chosen for being a dresser in NAFA for the Fashion Designer degree and Fashion Marketing and Merchandising Diploma. It was such an honour I can help them as a dresser and to see their design. It was my wish to be a dresser for the degree student as the degree will have more fabulous outfit, and the matter of fact they do than the diploma.
I did a volunteer for NAFA Graduation Show in 2018 as an usher, since it was the 80th anniversary of NAFA they held it in National Design Centre. And for this year they held it in 'The Ngee Ann Kongsi Gallery 2' which is at NAFA.
By the time i arrived i was in love with the stage, the stage was really nice, and i love the lighting, i think it's quite sophisticated.

So at first we will gather at 3 pm and the show start at 7 pm. The time shows at 5.30pm so me and my friends go down for brief, we don't know anything about the outfit and the designer so everything is assigned on that day which makes me a bit nervous, because we need to memorise the whole outfit.
So by the time we go down, my teacher did a briefing for the designer to make sure every outfit is okay and stuff...

I believe they are excited and terrified at the same time, so after the briefing we are assigned to our designer, all of my friends get the womenswear except for me, quinn, and shuhan. We got the menswear and we taking care of the fashion design (FD) and the Fashion Marketing & Merchandising (FMM) student. And so 3 of us must memorise everything and legit there are a lot of accessories that we need to memorise and the shoes for which outfit, so we try to memorise everything and we need to help 11 designers, each designer have 3-5 outfit and it's only 3 of us, but the designer will help us too.

But the good thing is that the designer already arrange all the number, how it suppose to go and stuff, and they put a picture so we can relate the picture to the outfit. I was so in love with some of the design that my senior made. And they survived to make all of that.

TBH, I really enjoy doing stuff as a dresser, and before the show start they do a photo together, and omg by the time I look at the model, they are so tall and the first thing in my mind is that how are we supposed to reach them, and do the outfit, they're very tall.
The show started, it was quite crazy i guess, we need to get ready everything and every time the model done the runway we need to change their outfit instantly, it was very busy, even other designer will help the other designer, and some of the design is quite heavy as well so it's quite hard to bring, and we don't want to ruin everything, and we can't ruin the model makeup and hair as well, so we really did try not to ruin everything.

Everyone was so busy until the last outfit go out and holy crap, that's it. We're done, it was a feeling that nobody can describe, tbh, i can feel their happiness for graduating after this whole 3-4 years, and i can see me in the next year, graduating and stuff i think it's going to be an awesome day. Can't wait for me to graduate.
PS : me and my friends from Indo try to embrace the beauty of the stage and the FMM booth.
